This Chapter was founded by a group of dedicated firefighters with a passion of training firefighters. After returning from FDIC in 2012, the founding FOOLs of BOTB noticed that firefighter's in North Louisiana would benefit from the Quality Training, Brotherhood, and Professional Attitude the Fraternal Order Of Leatherheads offered. In late April 2012 a FOOLs charter was established and "Brothers of The Boot" was born.
